Nationalist Congress Party National Media Convenor and former National Youth Working President SURAJ YADAV resigns from his post and primary membership of the party.

Nationalist Congress Party National Convenor of Media Department and former National Working President of the Youth Wing, Suraj Yadav announced his resignation from the party post and primary membership of the party at New Dehi today.
Suraj Yadav was founding Member of NCP since 1999 and had contested from Madhepura Lok Sabha Constituency on NCP ticket in 1999 against Shri Laloo Prasad and Shri Sharad Yadav. He served as President of the Bihar Pradesh NYC and later National Working President of the Youth Wing of the party (Nationalist Youth Congress). For last few years he was the National Convenor of the Media Department of the Party.
In the resignation letter submitted earlier to NCP National President Shri Sharad Pawar, Suraj Yadav wrote, “…I render my sincere thanks to you for great trust you reposed in me for all these 12 years I have been in the Party, since its inception, and for different positions I got in the party, including that of National Working President of the Youth Wing, due to your blessings. However, my potentialities were not fully realized. I am a Cancer Survivor also, and I know to fight. I shall fight my way in National Politics with the legacy of Late Rasbihari Lal Mandal (Freedom fighter and founder of All india Yadav Mahasabha in1911) and Late B P Mandal (former Chief minister, Bihar), with high moral value I have set for myself and with dedicated and sincere service to the common citizens for the vision I have for my Nation and its people, especially of Madhepura and Bihar.”
Meanwhile, the entire NCP District unit of Madhepura including President Shri Angad Yadav and of Saharsa Md Pintu Alam have also sent their resignations to Bihar Pradesh NCP Prsident Shri Mohan Lal Agarwal.

राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक, मीडिया विभाग एवं पूर्व राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी युवा अध्यक्ष प्रो सूरज यादव ने अपने पद तथा पार्टी की प्राथमिक सदयस्ता से अपने इस्तीफा को राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्री शरद पवार को सौपने की आज विधिवत घोषणा की.
प्रो सूरज यादव १९९९ से पार्टी के संस्थापक सदस्यों में थे एवं १९९९ में मधेपुरा लोक सभा क्षेत्र से श्री लालू प्रसाद और श्री शरद यादव के विरुद्ध राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी के प्रत्याशी थे जिस चुनाव में लालू प्रसाद जी अप्रत्याशित रूप से हार गए थे. सूरज यादव २००० - २००२ तक बिहार प्रदेश राष्ट्रवादी युवा कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष , २००२ -२००४ तक राष्ट्रीय युवा महासचिव, २००४-२००७ तक राष्ट्रवादी युवा कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रिय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष और उसके बाद से मीडिया विभाग के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक और प्रवक्ता थे.
प्रो यादव ने अपने त्यागपत्र में श्री शरद पवार को हार्दिक धन्यवाद देते हुए कहा है" कि पार्टी में उनकी क्षमता का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया गया. प्रो यादव ने कहा कि वे भी Cancer Survivor हैं और लड़ना जानते है, तथा अपने देश एवं उसकी जनता, खास तौर से मधेपुरा एवं बिहार के बेहतरी के लिए संघर्ष जारी रखना चाहते हैं. वे स्व रासबिहारी लाल मंडल ( स्वंत्रता सेनानी एवं 1911- अखिल भारतीय यादव महासभा के संस्थापक) तथा स्व बी पी मंडल (पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री, बिहार) की सामाजिक व राजनैतिक विरासत, आम आदमी के प्रति निष्ठावान सेवा, अपने लिए स्थापित उच्च नैतिक मूल्यों तथा अपने संघर्ष के बलबूते राष्ट्रिय राजनीती में आगे बढ़ते रहेंगे."
प्रो सूरज यादव के इस्तीफे के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी कि मधेपुरा के जिला अध्यक्ष श्री अंगद यादव और सहरसा के जिला अध्यक्ष मो पिंटू आलम सहित दोनों जिला की संपूर्ण इकाई ने भी अपना इस्तीफा बिहार प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री मोहनलाल अग्रवाल को सौंप दिए हैं.
