हार्दिक इच्छा !

हार्दिक पटेल चाहते है कि वह अपने आंदोलन का दायरा अन्य राज्यों में भी बढ़ाएं। पूरे देश में पटेल समुदाय को एकजुट करेंगे। इसके साथ ही आंदोलन में कुर्मियों और गुर्जर जैसी जातियों को भी शामिल करेंगे।
दिक्कत है कि अहमदाबाद के सहजानंद कालेज की डिग्री में 50 परसेंट से भी कम नंबर प्राप्त किए हार्दिक को पिछड़े वर्ग आरक्षण और आंदोलन के बारे में कई अहम जानकारियों की भारी कमी है या यूं कहें हैं की जिन्होंने उन्हें आगे किया है वे जानबूझ कर उन जानकारियों को दिया नहीं होगा।
पटेल समुदाय को आरक्षण देने का दबाव बनाने के लिए हार्दिक के प्रयास को अपनी जगह पर कुछ लोगों द्वारा ठीक माना जा सकता है।
लेकिन गुज्जरों की मांग अलग है। वे पिछड़े वर्ग में आते हैं और चाहते हैं की उन्हें अनुसूचित जाति का दर्ज़ा मिले जिसके विरुद्ध राजस्थान के मीणा कमर कस कर आंदोलन कर रहें हैं।
कुर्मी पिछड़े वर्ग में हैं और हालाँकि मंडल आंदोलन में कई जातियाँ दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के मंडल विरोधी आंदोलन की उग्रता से चुप थे या विरोध में शमिल थे, आज मंडल आरक्षण का पूरा फायदा उठा रहें हैं। तो कुर्मियों के हार्दिक आंदोलन में शामिल होना संभव नहीं है।
जहाँ तक जाट समुदाय का प्रश्न है, राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश आदि में वे पिछड़े वर्ग में हैं।लेकिन जैसे आजकल गैस पर मिलने वाले सब्सिडी कुछ लोग छोड़ देते हैं , वैसे ही हरियाणा के जाट नेताओं ने पिछड़े वर्ग का हिस्सा बनना स्वीकार नहीं किया था और पिछड़े वर्ग के आरक्षण पर मंडल विरोधी आंदोलन के दिल्ली में वे कर्णधार थे। यह अलग बात है की आज वे आरक्षण के लिए आंदोलन कर रहें हैं। परन्तु हार्दिक के प्रेस सम्मलेन गुज्जर और जाट नेताओं के अलग राय आने लगे।
दरअसल आज भी पिछड़े वर्ग के आरक्षण को ठीक से लागू नहीं किया गया है और आरक्षण नियमों के अवेहलना करते हुए पिछड़े वर्ग के लिए 27 प्रतिशत और अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति के लिए 22.5% आरक्षण की जगह जनरल केटेगरी की लिए 50% रिजर्व कर दिया जाता है यानि उसमें अगर OBC/SC/ST प्रतियोगिता के आधार पर आते भी हैं तो उन्हें छांट 27 व 22.5 % में दे दिया जाता है। ऊपर से जब पसमांदा मुसलमान पिछड़े वर्ग में ही आते हैं फिर भी आंध्र में अलग से मुस्लिम कोटा और हिज़डों के लिए भी इसी 27% में एडजस्ट करने के लिए आदेश दिया जाता है। 27 % आँख की किरकिरी है, हार्टबर्न का कारण !
पर हार्दिक को इससे क्या ? वे आधुनिक सरदार पटेल बनने की ख्वाहिश रखते हैं। पर सरदार बनना इतना आसान नहीं है। वैसा कद बनाना पड़ेगा, मूर्तियों का नहीं अपना !

PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS

Mr. President:

In this solemn hour, of our history when after many years of struggle we are taking over the governance of this country, let us offer I= humble thanks to the Almighty Power that shapes the destinies of men and nations and let us recall in grateful remembrance the services and sacrifices of all those men and women, known and unknown, who with smiles on their face walked to the gallows or faced bullets on their chests, who experience living death in the cells of the Andamans, or spent long years in the prisons of India, who preferred voluntary exile in foreign countries to a Me of humiliation in their own, who not only lost wealth and property but cut themselves off from near and dear ones to devote themselves to the achievement of the great objective which we. are witnessing, today. Let us also pay our tribute of love and reverence to Mahatma Gandhi who has been our beacon light, our guide and philospher during the last thirty years or more. He represents that undying spirit in our culture and make-up which has kept India alive through vicissitudes of our history. He it is who pulled us out of the slough of despond and despair and blowed into us a spirit which enabled us to stand up for justice to claim our birth-right of freedom and placed in our hands the matchless and unfailing weapon of Truth and Non-violence which, without arms and armaments has won for us the invaluable prim of Swaraj at a price which, when the history of these times comes to be written, will be regarded as incredible for a vast country of our size and for the teeming millions of our population. We were indifferent-instruments that he had to Wok with but he led us with consummate skill, with unwavering determination, with an undying faith in our future, with faith in his weapon and above all with faith in God. Let us prove true to that faith. Let us hope that India will not, in the hour of her triumph, give up or minimise the value of the weapon which served not only to rouse and inspire her. in her moments of depression but has also proved its efficacy. India has a great part to play in the shaping and moulding of, the future of a war distracted world. She can play that part not by mimicking, from a distance, what others are doing, or by joining in the race for armaments and competing with others in the discovery of the latest and most effective instruments of destruction. She has now the opportunity, and let us hope, she will have the courage and strength to place before the world for its acceptance her infallible substitute for war and bloodshed, death and destruction. The world needs it and will welcome it, unless it is prepared to reel back into barbarism from which it boasts to have emerged.
