DEMAND FOR INQUIRY INTO CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION (PRELIMINARY) 2009 RESULTS.

Nationalist Congress Party National Media Convenor Suraj Yadav has demanded that the Union Government in view of widespread complaints against Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2009, institute a high level Inquiry to probe its results. Of late, there has been many complaints on the functioning of Union Public Service Commission for past few years and the activities of one or two newly appointed members have been under scanner.The irregularities in the highest Service of the nation has not only demoralised the candidates but also put a big question mark on the future of administration in India. The UPSC needlessly takes refuge in the garb of 'Secrecy' to cover up its misdeeds, which has been summarily rejected by the highest Courts of the nation.
We demand that the Union Public Service Commission explain why number of candidates selected for the Main Examination has been drastically reduced in proportion to the number of vacancies announced this year and what has been the cut-off for selection for Main Examination this year. The candidates have alleged that in the selected list sequence of Roll Numbers are missing in a row, indicating something fishy. UPSC has chosen to ignore all querries under RTI Act of 2005.
There has been great dissatisfaction earlier on erratic marking of a member connected with JNU in the interviews. We hope that the Government will be sensitive to these complaints and order Inquiry soon.

सिविल सेवा परीक्षा २००९ (प्रारंभिक) के परिणामों की जांच की मांग
नई दिल्ली ११ सितम्बर २०१०. राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय मीडिया संयोजक सूरज यादव ने केंद्र सरकार से मांग की है कि सिविल सेवा परीक्षा २००९ ( प्रारंभिक) के परिणामों की शिकायतों के मद्देनज़र परिणामों की तत्काल उच्च स्तरीय जांच करायी जाये. विगत एक-दो वर्षों से संघ लोक सेवा आयोग के काम काज पर लगातार प्रश्न-चिन्ह लग रहे हैं और नवन्युक्त एक-दो सदस्यों के क्रियाकलाप तो बहुत संदिग्ध है. देश के सर्वोच्च सेवा की नियुक्तिओं में धांधली से सिर्फ परीक्षार्थियों का मनोबल ही नहीं गिर रहा है, बल्कि देश के प्रशासन के भविष्व पर भी सवालिया निशान लग चुका है. अपनी गलतियों को छुपाने के लिए संघ लोक सेवा आयोग बेवजह गोपिनियता को अपना हथियार बनाते हैं, जिसे देश के सर्वोच्च न्यायलय द्वारा ख़ारिज किया जा चुका है. हम मांग करते हैं कि सिविल सेवा के प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में इस वर्ष घोषित पदों के अनुपात में काफी कम अभियार्थियों को क्यों लिया गया है तथा चयन प्रक्रिया में कट ऑफ़ क्यों नहीं बताया जा रहा है. कई मेधावी परीक्षार्थियों के नाम सूचि में नहीं होने पर सूचना के अधिकार के अंतर्गत भी प्रश्नों का जवाब नहीं दिया जा रहा है. सूची से क्रम में लगातार सैकड़ों अनुक्रमांक गायब है. इसके पहले भी जे एन यु से जुड़े एक सदस्य के साक्छात्कार में अंक दिए जाने के तरीके पर कई परीक्षार्थी सिकायत कर चुके हैं. सरकार इस मांग पर जल्द कार्यवाही करेगी,यह विश्वास व्यक्त किया गया है. सूरज यादव प्राध्यापक,दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय,
